Minor Offenses Act'/장발단속

ᴊᴀᴄᴋɪᴇ ᴄʜᴀɴ ɪɴ "ʜᴀᴘᴘʏ ᴛᴏɢᴇᴛʜᴇʀ" © ᴋʙꜱ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ ᴛᴠ Have you ever heard about 'Minor Offenses Act'/장발단속 introduced that was issued by Old Park Chung Hee government in 1973? It was an act that banned men from having long hair and women wearing skirts shorter than 17 centimeters above the knee. Violators were often taken to police stations and had their hair cut against their will. It was my first time to hear about it in 2014 when I watched Jackie chan episode on "Happy Together". Korean people suffered alot in order to keep their hair long. It wasn't limited to 1970s, During Japan invasion there was "The single command"/ 단발령 Have you ever heard about that? Chuseok & Eid Al- fitr similarities

 We have similar holiday it's called 'Eid' it lasts for 3 days as well. We eat 'Kahk' it's kind of traditional round cookies. We visit our relatives and children can take money(Eidyia)  from their grandparents, similar to '세뱃돈'. Some people would prefer to visit graves as well. Instead of offering food for ancestors we distribute the so called 'Rahma' which consists of some baked goods called 'Qoras/Koras' and fruits to neighbours & relatives. Some may donate money to poor as well. 이집트에도 추석 비슷한 명절이 있습니다. '이드'라는 명절입니다. 3일 동안 보냅니다. 우리는 '카흐크 (전통적인 둥그란 쿠키)를 먹습니다. 조부모 댁에 방문하고 아이들은 조부모와 친척에게 '세뱃돈' 같은 돈 '이디야' 를 받을 수 있습니다. 어떤 사람들은 산소를 방문하기도 하고, 조상들에게 음식을 만드는 대신에 '라흐마'를 이웃과 친척에게 나누어 줍니다. '라흐마'는 특별한 빵(코라스)과 과일입니다. 어떤 사람들은 가난한 사람들에게 돈을 기부할 수도 있습니다.

Today is Neyrouz day or Coptic New Year "Nayrouroz" originated from coptic language as the completion of the flood season and the beginning of a new agricultural year. The celebration remained as a holiday for the Egyptian peasant until the era of Emperor Diocletian, who was known by Christians persecution It turned into a feast that commemorating the martyrs.  On this celebrating Egyptians eat D ates: The red colour symbolizes the blood of the martyrs, and its seed symbolizes the strength of their faith Guava: The white insides symbolizes the purity of martyrs heart, its seeds represents their large number 오늘은 콥틱 새해입니다 (나이로즈 Nayrouroz날) 콥트어에서 유래했습니다. 홍수 시즌이 끝나고 새로운 농업 년이 시작됩니다. 이 축제는 이집트 농부의 휴일로 남아 있는데, 디 오클레티아누스 시대부터 기독교인을 박해 때문에 순교자들을 기억하기 위해 축제 의미 바뀌었습니다. 이 날에 먹는 음식/과일은: • 대추: 빨간색은 순교자의 피 상징하며, 씨는 순교자의 강한 믿음을 상징합니다. • 구아바: 하얀 속은 순교자의 마음의 순수함을 상징하며, 씨들은 순교자들의 많은 수를 상징합니다.
